Turned up the cummins a tad, now???
The idle is a litle higher. Not a big deal, but Without a tach how do I get it to normal. Int probly aroung 800-100 by ear. I can get a hand tach from a local diesel shop, do I use that on the drive belt?

Is it an optical tach or an contact tach?

I think the general consensus is to just turn down the idle until it seems normal to you. A little bit above a shaky mess.
