Turbo Upgrade

OK guys Im looking to upgrade the turbo on my truck but really don't want to break the bank. Was looking at the GDS 60MM upgrade but not really sure. Right now with the POD's getting hot on the EGT really quick so I'm thinking I need more air. Boost is about 35 psi at max throttle and EGT gets to 1300 real quick and thats were I back off. Are there any others or does anyone know of anything better?
Thanks,
John

I'd save for a better turbo. A hybrid can't really keep up with POD's and a cranked up pump.

What pump are you suggesting I save for?

WHat are your plans with the truck? If it tows, I'd suggest a Super HX40. If you're after performance, a 62/71/14 is the way to go, in my opinion.

super 40 would be my vote.

In my experience a hybrid can't even keep stock sticks cool with a cranked pump.

How about a link to the maker of the Super 40.

I like my he351. It cools really well and its a cheap upgrade and it spools really quick. I'm just about to put some pods in so we'll see how it cools after these.

I wouldn't argue against a super 40, it's a good choice for what you are running.

I'd look at my local shops before I bought one online. Reason I say that is because they charge 1K+ online, when I can get one form a guy around here for a little over $800 shipped.

Technically, but don'y pay more than $100 for it, in my opinion. An automatic 24 valve should have an HY35, with a tiny 9cm exhaust housing, for extremely fast spool up, but it will choke itself on the top end, and a manual will have an HX35 with a 12cm housing, but it won't flow much more air than an intercooled H1C. If you have a baby HC, found on Non I/C trucks, its a pretty good upgrade for a mild truck.

I love my super40, and I run PODs no heat issue with that turbo!
