Turbo s300g or he351cw?

I have one of those he351ve take-offs that I got of ebay years ago and never messed with. I've decided I don't want a science project and will be selling it on CL and getting something different.
The s300 seems to fit the bill and is quite expensive, for me. The sale of the ve will help a little with cost.
The he351cw seems like a viable option but takes more work to install. When you re-clock the compressor housing does that mess up the wastegate function? Will it run hot pulling grades with 3,000# in the bed?
Truck is auto, 3.54 gears with 285 tires, 4"exhaust, BHAF when turbo is upgraded and 5x12 injectors

Thanks

I have the S300G (from THD), and on a 9% grade and 10,000lbs behind me, 3rd lo and torque converter locked, ~20psi is fine on the pyro...like 950....but I worry about coolant temp at +220.

I'm pretty sure I remember clocking the compressor some to get things lined up...there's only so far I could go before something bumped against the wastegate mechanism though. I needed to bend the oil return as well.
