Turbo question

If your going to add anymore fuel than you have now and plan on towing don't waste your money on the 60mm or a he351. I could melt my truck down with my set up and there is no way the 351 cools better than the 60mm up top.

Oh yea the Super B is a 57mm compressor and a 65mm Turbine, Yo will have no trouble spooling that,
Thats an S300G, which is what Richie O has on his 89 with an Auto. I think he still has EGT problems though and his has a Powerstroke Intercooler

By chance does anyone know of someone that has ran a 60mm upgrade with a smaller housing, and also used a he351cw? It would be nice to get the opinion of someone that has experience with both. The 9cm housing has always seemed small to me but the 4" outlet is nice. With both being 60mm if the h1c is upgraded I would be interested to see the flow difference of a he351 vs a upgraded h1c with a 12-16cm housing.

9cm housing is not gonna flow squat. I don't care if it has a 4" outlet, its a small housing with a tiny turbine.

Tiny turbine? 60mm is tiny?
I guess it all depends on what the person wants to use it for. Seems with these trucks it is a challenge to ever have enough air with good drivability without going twins.

If a common rail can run em with a lot more than stock power than I don't see why we can't.
350+hp can easily be achieved with an HE351 on our trucks and still have the nice fast spoolup.

Super HX40 from PDR would be a good one.....Or a D-tech 62/65
I think they are just a tad over a grand....which isn't too bad for a turbo that could probably safely support 400hp
When i say support, I don't mean 1700* egt's either LOL
