turbo nut

I got my trubo in the mail today and I took off the rear pipe to get it cut down a inch and I noticed that the nut? on the rear of the turbo has a 1/3 of it missing.I think they. Well I dont know what happend to say the truth. How does something like this get fixed? Just one of thoes ebay buys

ya, like dave said, that's how they balance it. keep in mind also, that is not actually a nut. it is just shaped like one.
