Truck died and won't start

I was on way home from work today and my truck just mysteriously died and then wouldn't start. It cranks like it is out of fuel. I am getting fuel to the injector pump, but am not getting fuel to the injectors. The injector pump is less than a year old and I have half a tank of fuel. I was thinking it could be FSD, but I don't know. Any thoughts or ideas would be helpful.

I would check to see that the fuel shutoff is getting power, those spade terminals can easily loose connection. It only takes a second to take it right out to entirely eliminate that issue, even if its just temporary.

it sounds like you need a fuel shut off solanoid. mine did that, if you take the plunger out of it it will start and run but you will have to shut it off at the injector pump

the solenoid is located on the top/back end of the injection pump, it requires 12V to open the plunger thats is inside it, this allows fuel to flow to the pump. if the 12V is removed (by turning off key or poor connection) then the plunger closes and the fuel flow stops.

here is a link for the solenoid ($10 is the best I've even seen), notice the black plunger sticking out the bottom, that plunger can also cause a no shutdown situation when it looses a little chunk of rubber off the end.

If you remove the solenoid you can pull the plunger out, but make sure you take the little spring out of there too, then put the solenoid back in and then if it starts you know for sure its a bad solenoid.
