Yes, on a 93 voltage is controlled by the PCM. However, it is very possible someone modified it and switched it back to the old style. Check your firewall left of the last cylinder.

The old tps shouldn't be connected to anything once you install a pot .. did you disconnect the wire from the tps? Or have you ran the wires from the tps to the pot? This wont work at all. ..

My potentiometer is very sensitive, and it's supposed to be linear taper (not an audio one, that is log rhythmic). If I go all the way to the left, or all the way to the right it won't go in OD. I have mine set up so mid stroke is exactly pointing up.... I keep the dial pointed at about 9 o clock and just the smallest bump will change it.

Like I said... all the way to one way or the other and it won't work, and it seems to react sluggish... as in you can't just slowly rotate the **** at 50mph and feel it shift. It's delayed by a second or two.

There is a temp sensor in the trans line that could cause it. Try unplugging it and jump the two wires together and see what happens.

Also if you test the 2 wires at the od selonoid for power and ground the wire that is not hot through a switch od should work unless the problem in in the trans.
