Trans temp sender location?

Trans temp sender location?
alright, so I have become obsessed with this subject but here goes. what would one see trans temp wise if the same truck same conditions with the sender in the pan was reading 170, what would you probably see if the sender was in the converter line out 190?.
Im not sure ,but is it correct to use the front line out to put the tee into for the sender?
Also FYI. I have seen it asked for line routing on the HD units. Mine is like this. Out from the front trans line ,to the under bed cooler, to the heat exchanger, to the front cooler, to the return trans line.
this really seems the best, the hot fluid out of the converter will probably be cooled below engine temp by the large cooler before it enters the heat exchanger thus removing heat from the engine by heating it to engine temp then running it to the front cooler for more cooling then back to the pan. sound right?

The sender should be on the front line on the tranny (closest to converter) to see what the tranny is doing. I'm thinking of a second sender with a switch on the return line to occasionally monitor the cooling performance. The pan would probably read the same as the return line.
