Towing Mirrors....

So I really want to put Dodge towing mirrors on my pick up and was wondering which ones do I get? Second gen or Third Gen? Also what else to I need in order to mount them. I know I need to make a bracket to weld to the door but do I need any other support brackets?

Darn kids, always check the sticky. I would never defile my pick up like that, but to each their own.

I just picked up some Motor home mirrors off craigslist for $20 for my crew build. Gotta make some angled blocks to fit the slope of the upper doors so they mount vertically. Should look kinda like this when I get done. They won't have the turn indicators, but didn't cost me $250 either...

Something I didn't see in the sticky was powered mirrors...I want power mirrors and was wondering if I could just drill a hole under the wing window? Is there anything to hit in there?

Why not go down through, or beside, the main power window and lock wiring harness that exits the cab, and runs into the door?
