Question Top of VE leaking fuel

Other day after I changed my throttle linkage to the inside spot, I noticed that my ve was leaking fuel at a constant dribble while it was running. I'm not sure if this was caused when I loosened the ball joint or if it was just coincidence.

It's my daily driver and I'd like to get it fixed in the least amount of time. I'll attach a few pictures to show where It looks like the fuel is coming from. I did some searching but didn't look like it was the same area so sorry if this is a repost of something that's already posted.

Also I tightened the top of the throttle arm a bit, and it looked like it made the leak better. It feels like it could go more but I don't wanna over tighten and make it worse.

Any info would be great,
Thanks.

Dan

Your throttle shaft seals are leaking. You'll need to pull the top of your pump to change them out. Not a bad job, but a bit of a hassle to get those four allen key bolts out.

Well I'm willing to help if we can combine schedules. You just need a Bosch DGK-121 reseal kit and a few hours.

Make sure you change the bushings and the throttle shaft at the same time or the repair wont last.

Yeah, from the looks of it, you just need to replace the o-ring on the index shaft. that rides the gov spring. I would do the entire pump though.. I find that once you replace one.. the rest are soon to follow.

Alright thanks for the info guys. However I tightened the top of it with an allen key about 1/8th turn and now it doesn't leak at all..

Now seems like a good time to re-seal everyone on it though. I'll get a kit and maybe do a 366 spring as well, seems like it really helps with drivability.
