Jim I was expecting the same as you! a dangling extension cord! lol
Wow, I need a Tig welder and about a grand to buy materials. 260 bucks that cheesy setup on fleabay sold for! What a joke! There is no denying an ASA intake tube, and an Icebox makes for a very good looking, functional combo.
And oh yeah, a BHAF, aint going to do a thing for your smoke, only a turbo is going to help that, unless of course, you detune or get off the skinny peddle.
How is it I can drive a 215 P-pump 5-speed with no plate, clean, and cool but no one can drive a tuned 1st gen clean?

good advice
wow guys, appriciate the response i am getting on the subject. i especially love the B847 soup pan intake. lol. But, I fixed a big bit of the problem. I bought a turbo that was off of a late 2nd generation. it had been worked a little they said. i am not sure what all was done to it, but dang, it kicks *** now. i have a K&N intake box on it, and i cut it open a lot more than it was, and with that new turbo, it has a lot of kick!! and, i fixed the tractor style injector pump shut off. so, now it opens like it should, allowing full diesel, and when i pull it, it kills the pump. between the shut off working, and the new turbo, the truck starts nice and smooth in mornings. I appriciate all the help you guys gave. as for the intake, i will prob. buy some aluminum or stainless and weld my own up.
