Would bumping the timing on a truck with factory injectors help? i have turned my pump up about 3 turns on the full fuel screw and have good throttle response now. But better throttle response sounds good. i do have quite abit of smoke under hard acceleration that would be nice to lighten up abit. thanks

Yeah, I'd recommend an 1/8" bump to anybody.

I hook it to the arc housing then put a board on top of the valve cover and run the strap over it to the passenger fender. There might be a video on you tube.

I headed back outside as soon as I read ^^^ this ^^^ .

I made a loop in a length of that orange plastic hay-bale string that is used on the BIG squares.

I placed this loop over the AFC housing and under the little "nub" that is just enough hook-shaped that it held my loop well.

Seeing as how I have FORD A/C right over the injection-pump, a standard non-Dodge manifold, and a huge air-intake, all in the path of the strap, I stacked four layers of 2X material on top of the valve-cover to get the strap to clear.

I believe the part about using the plank over the valve-covers was the best bit of your information, as it may have been midnight before doing thus dawned on me.

Once I got the ratchet-strap connected into my hay-string loop and hooked into the steerboard fender, it was a piece of cake to literally dial in the exact amount of rotation.
