Time to fix Dana 60

While poking around the steering linkage and front wheel bearings I discovered that the support bearing for the axle shaft near the driver's side yoke has given up. The axle shaft has about a quarter inch of vertical movement. That explains the leaky seal. I don't need four wheel drive much this time of year but I will be repairing it in September, after I retire. (and before hunting season)If there is anything that the FSM doesn't tell you I sure would be greatful for that informatiom. I haven't been that far into an axle before. Any tips would be helpful. I will do both sides including joints. Unfortunitally I haven't built my new garge yet so I will be working off jackstands on concrete.
