Fords look like a TONKA truck and a real TONKA truck is no match for 2 rough boys. I know from experience!

Freight train,I was referring to 2 wd! The flat fender power wagon you are talking about is it's own category of truck. I love those trucks and totally forgot about them. I have heard rumors they are still making that truck for forestry dept. use,and I emphasize "rumor" Also I know we are talking pick ups here but Dodge had one fine looking semi tractor in the "Big Horn " category. Check out OldDodges.com and click on the Bighorn Registry.

They certainly don't look as cheap and thin as the first gen flares.

Update on Arrowcraft,I talked to them on Thursday and their fender is not a replacement for a factory flare as I stated before. Very nice people to deal with and I was told that their fender mounts to the outside of the bed. There is no modification what so ever to wheel well. The fenders will work with the stock single wheel axle or in my case I am actually installing a dually axle. So this would be another option for making your ride a dually. If you are thinking of doing this conversion you have to call them and handle everything over the phone. They want to make sure you are getting every thing you need to get the job done right the first time. Sounds like good customer service which you don't see to much of any more. Hope this helps!

Thanks Augie Dog. For me that means they won't work on my dually, and I'll have to find some other way of replacing my tired ones. I think I'll end up getting a rubber mallet and some sheet metal and coming up with something. I want to change the shape a little bit anyway. Thanks again for the update!
