A thought on Dually rear fenders...

I have seen a few of these around and every time I see one I think..."Those sure look like 1st Gen dually flares....maybe they could be used?"

Now these only come on the MegaCab dually trucks, from what I can gather. But just thought it might be another option for those wanting to do a dually conversion.

I thought the same thing and like them most of all modern dually fenders. IDK what it would take to adapt but anything is doable with money. I don't know how they'll look being the 3rd gens had rounded wheel openings and our are kinda square. Be the guinea pig and take pics.

I was having daydreams about fabbing some up out of sheet metal and changing the shape a little bit 'cause mine are toast . Actually, what I had in mind looked pretty much what these look like. So maybe a set of these one's would work? Mmm, got me thinking now, Thrashingcows! Although my immediate thought is that these ones won't work as they have the wrong profile to fit in to our wheel wells. Some fabbing required me-thinks. Have to investigate further...

WHAT!!! UGLY!!! I am with Crossy's Son. This is one of the best looking trucks Dodge has ever built. Trust me I am old enough to see all of Dodge's trucks from the 50's on up and the Mega Cab Dually wins hands down!! The early 1948 - 1950's Dodge trucks may I say it were "posterior" ugly! They have come a long way. The fenders are almost identical to 1st gen but just a little wider. OK I am done!

Are those the one piece dually fender and box side your making reference too? If so then I have to agree, the one piece dually box looks like edit so far as I'm concerned.

I cant believe someone would pay $50k for a truck that cant haul a sheet of plywood if you have a toolbox and fuel tank in the bed! Dodge should build them with a 8ft bed! Trucks look good but I would never buy a truck with anything but a 8ft bed.

Augie, I have to say that I love first gens but flat fender power wagons are and always will be an icon! Do you mean 2wd 100's?

Think these would be closer to "bolt on"?

Yeah, why they got rid of the unique MC DRW fender flares goes beyond my common sense. The 05-09 MC DRW are the best looking things on God's green earth.

The style was SOOOOOOO popular, Ford stol..... designed something like it!

the Ford fender looks too bulky, not properly streamlined with the overall design, my 2 cts. Even the fuel trap door is off...

I'm with Brandon and all that find the newer fenders sharp, they look good!
