Taking The Big Plunge, VE with garrett GT4294
Well, the trucks odometer is nearing the goal I set for it, 250,000mi., at that point it will be retired for more desirable conquests. This spring it goes full on puller. It tears itself up so much the way it is that it is the sensible thing to do.
For the heck of it this spring I'm going to a larger tire that is much more aggressive for the loose tracks I keep encountering, home brewed 14mm soot slinger, 5 GPM fuel system, 6x18 or so sticks, and for the great experiment, the Garrett GT4294 . The 24V guys can run them so why not? This will be my hold me over setup until I can build my other motor. It might be p7100, it might not? This isn't a streetable turbo, but it makes the SPS66 look like a little girl toy for half the $$$. Oh, yeah its stronger than the A5K (K31). Supports 800HP, should light up at like 2300 RPM... hopefully! They say the spool is wicked, hang on.

If a VP44 can light it up, we should be able too. Realistically, it's all about the thermal energy leaving the motor. The 12V can get into the big RPM'S and it throws out tons of heat energy, regardless of the pump on it. I have a p7100 here that is going to get 13mm P&B's just in case it don't work.
The GT4294 I'm running is a journal bearing turbo. The ball (ceramic) bearing versions are designated by an R at the end of the number
