Tach issues

Ok, all of a sudden An Isspro Tach like quit working, I have pwr to it from the plug. When I stomp on it it will go up to like 2500 then when I let off it goes down to Zero. So, put new Isspro tach on and the same thing. Sometimes it bounces around a bit but usally at 0. Adjusted the cps and no change. Anyone have any ideas. Bad wire someplace??

That sucks. I hate wiring. it seems like my pyro doesn't work right if it is rainy outside. I don't know what to think about your problem though. Is the sensor good?

what are the chances of burning up a thermo-coupler? I think mine is too far in the manifold and could be burnt up from the extreme heat. Maybe it just went bad???

As far as I know it is charging, I am trying to help my brother in law over the phone with it. He called me a little while ago and said when he turns his blinker on it goes up to 1k and flickers. Som that tells me there has to be a bare sopt on a the wire somewhere and its grounding out somehow. I hooked all the other guages upm boost and pyro like I do them all and they work good. It is tough not having the problem in front of me to work on!!

I am betting on a power or grounding problem at the tach.
