Symptoms after recent mods

My recent mods are: 3200rpm spring, bd fuel pin, and a 4" turbo back exhaust. Now when I first fire the truck up in the morning or when it's cold, it smokes (but it's white) and is a little sputtery. When I try and rev it up it feels like it has a miss. When the truck is warmed up the runs and drives and idles fine. Is his normal?

That is not normal maybe you have an air leak somewhere in the fuel system.

Sounds like a timing issue. Is your KSB functioning properly? I would push the pump toward the intake about 1/8" and test.

Number 1: How can I test the KSB?

Number 2: the timing is titz on with the factory marks right now. Exactly like it was when I pulled it off. So you're saying that maybe the new fuel pin is dying for just a bit more timing?

Its been a while but when you change the spring isn't there something that has to be indexed right when putting it back together or it will be off? Or was that the throttle?

Yeah the throttle lever if you remove it when you install the spring. You don't have to, but I did. But I would think if that was off that it wouldn't run well, ever. This is only cold starts. Once she warms up she feels smoother and the white smoke goes away.

OK, yeah that must be what I was thinking of.

Sounds like maybe something is leaking when cold and once it warms up the heat expands it and it quits?

It literally sounds and acs like air in the fuel system. But I will tinker with it this weekend and if I can't figure it out ill poke my head back in this thread.

When I removed the last fuel filter the round piece above it also twisted because it was on there so tight. I tried to tighten it back but it wouldn't go all the way to the same position it was in.... Maybe this has something to do with it

If the fuel filter is not sealing right and air is getting there.
Then it would cause the white smoke and sputtering when you start it after sitting a bit.
