your current pump is refered to as a "ve" . any dodge application p-7100 will work . ive done several conversions and its easier and cheaper to have a complete donor motor. the advantage of the p-pump is mainly more high rpm fuel. the ve has a broader powerband. in most cases i dont think its worth the swap.

You have a VE now. You're thinking of putting the P7100 on.

There's nothing wrong with your VE pump, I dont see a reason to do the swap.

The VP44 is the pump the 98.5-02 24 valve trucks have.

I've heard the inline pumps like the 700 are better for using alternative fuels like WVO than the rotorary pump like I have now.

I think you are mixing up pumps. The VE so far as I know has never had any issues with alternative fuels. The VP-44 used in 98.5-02 trucks ( also a rotary ) has been more of an issue.

I'm with the rest, for that purpose I see no help with a P7100 inline pump.

The only benefit I see of a P7100 P-Pump set-up, over a VE pump, is the fact that it is lubricated with engine oil. So if you run out of fuel you will not damage/grenade your injection pump.
