I noticed a slight surge in my idle today. I had the truck idling for about 8-10 minutes and noticed the exhaust sound surging a little. I don't have a tachometer so I don't know exactly, but I'm guessing a 100-200rpm surge or so.

The truck drives fine, and has all the power like normal, but the surge is only at idle.

Any ideas?

 

That happened during my problem with a connection on the wire to the shutdown solenoid. Apart from the stuttering, it would periodically do what you're describing. the problem disappeared after the wire was cleaned and reapplied.
