sounds like a good idea. I know rip sells the fake muffs too so peep can pass the visual inspection, or appease any heat lookylooing under your rig's skirt.

Big fines in CA for no muffler and ANY "modified" exhaust. I was puffing my chest out at a "bro-ed" out 3rd gen mega cab (passing BLOWIng smoke) and ended up getting pulled over. When the nice cop realized it was a diesel after explaining my charger "air leak" my truck wasn't getting the required air to match the fuel. No fine or ticket
