Still wont fire???this is what its doing......
Alright guys, thanks for all the help so far but we're still not there. This is where Im at....I've got fuel going to all my injectors,I cracked them one at a time and turned it over for about 10 sec each and got fuel on all six.I hit it with a quick shot of ether and turned it over ,it sounded like it wanted to start but didnt quite go.I rolled the length of the truck underneath with a flashlight looking for any possible fuel leaks where air might be getting into the fuel lines but saw nothing....What if anything can I eliminate as being the problem? What should I look at next???????

Only need 3 things for a running engine.
Fuel
Air (O2)
Ignition.
You have fuel
Air is kind of a given
Ignition? We get that from heat if compression.
Got a compression tester?
If you have ruled out a fuel problem a compression test will tell you if you have enough to light off the fuel.
OTOH, Maybe your timing somehow slipped drasticyl.

MAxx, when you say you have fuel a the injectors, how much? I mean is is shooting out or just a drip? it should be coming ou tof there at a good pressure...
You can have an air leak that "sucks in" without much or any obviuos leak out, so go ahead and check all your conections and the fuel filter, make sure they are snug and tight. Test teh FSO and make sure it is functioning properly as well, tighten the wire connectors at it...

At this point I'll try anything and not even call you crazy!
As for the fuel thing ,I wouldnt say that it is spraying out all over the place, but its not dripping out either.I just cracked the lines I didnt pull them all the way out.

Well, if you are satisfied taht its getting fuel, that leaves air and heat...
I take i t the battery is good tho and the intake off?
reading one of the other posts, you have by-passed the FSo right? theres nothing that could be shutting the fuel off as you apply poewr to it?

Correct the fso is no longer a factor on my truck,it never did work right even after filing it down.My battery is taking a beating, but Ive had my 79 bronco hooked up to it to make sure I still have enough juice to crank it

Pop the boot off the intake horn and try it. That could rule out an air blockage in everything from the filter to the intake manifold. Your non-I/C so there ain't much but maybe.
