Finally got on to check Jensen's heavy-duty line. We have this one in the Steiger.

And this one in the 4840 I plant with.

I know I can dim the backlight with the second one, not sure on the first. But the first also has CD. Either way, it has to wait til I can scrape the cash together. Both are pretty good units.

What year/model Steiger is it? Is it a round or square cab? I would love to see some pictures.

Cougar 1000. Looks to be the same as a 9100 series Case. 12 speed (slam-bang) powershift and 300 kitty cat. Pulls a 1050 Kinze during harvest, could use some more weight up front, it gets to bucking pretty bad. Still beats the 7250 on the cart.

12 row JD 9660 in the back. Goodyear DT710s work around here, if it's muddy you wait two days and it's dry again.

We use a CP 1360 (Cat engine, Power shift, 360 horse) to tow a set of shovels and our 42 foot John Deere 1895.

Them are some little tires. Ours has 24.5-32's. It never really gets muddy around here either.

They are 18.4-42's, set for 30 inch rows.

I sat on the ground and rested my camera on my knee to steady it enough to get that shot. I think it's a pretty good one.

Here's a little video I put together during wheat last year, it runs about 11 minutes.

Had a young bald eagle chasing me around the field yesterday looking for rodents behind the planter. And of course I hadn't used my camera in some time, and after fetching it from the daycab in the morning, found its battery was dead.

I got tired of trying to feed CDs into a bouncing player, so I put Pioneers with a USB ports in everything. All I have to do is chase the remote around the vehicle now.
