You can get an adjustable drag link thru skyjacker suspension then you can center it

I would take it back and tell them to fix it properly. That skyjacker link ain't cheap.

Jim,
Can you explain that to me. The stock draglink has no adjustment so I'm not sure if or how that works.
Thanks everyone for your input, I'll eventually get it figured out. And yes, I've already called them to take it back and have them re-check their work.

There is no way for the alignment shop to get the steering out of adjustment with the tie rod. The driver tire is mounted solidly to the gear box pitman arm by the nonadjustable draglink. The chevys had an adjustable one, but they won't work on a dodge. The skyjacker and superlift ones are the only ones that are, but expensive.

So why is it so out of whack? Could the wrong drag link have been put on? like I've stated, it was OK before the frontend work. The alignment shop has basically said the frontend is right, the steering wheel has no adjustment, so it is what it is.

Bill, have you removed the steering wheel to look? What I have found with the FSM is that the illustrations may not be correct for the exact application, especially in the minutia. If the front end is good, then you should be able to take it off and put it on straight. I think that if the wheel was level before the job, the only explanation is the wrong drag link...Mark

Mark,
That's pretty much what I've arrived at, wrong drag link (although they say it's the correct one). No, I haven't pulled the steering wheel yet. I'm going back to the shop that completed the alignment on Tuesday. They saved the old drag link, so we can compare and go from there. Thanks for your input. The whole thing didn't make sense to me in the beginning. Assuming the drag link is correct and the steering wheel can't be moved, the only option is a Skyjacker adjustable link at $259.00. That'll suck.

If it turns out I need to and can move the steering wheel, is there anything about the clockspring that I have to watch for during the re-install?

I set the total toe (can't do individually) the old way with a tape measure. Check the front of tires and compare to rear measurement. Are you toed in or out? adjust the tie rods ends. I try for close to zero or max of 1/16
When I'm done, I pull the steering wheel and put it on straight
Cheers
