steering coupler is loose where to get replacement?

i was driving down the road the other day and noticed my steering is getting a little sloppy, well the culprit is that coupler down near the steering box. i put a reman steering box on a few years ago and i had one of those couplers brand new behind the seat, and now the parts stores and dealer say they are not available. that's b.s.!!!! where do i get one of these or what to do? i've herd of a borgesen shaft but $200... bend over.

Borgeson is the only good solution for the 4x4 coupler. Either that, or fab up your own u-joint.

Dodge should still have the coupler rebuild kits available. They work well on the 2wd trucks.

If you have the removable rag-joint, Flaming River makes a real nice shock-absorbing shaft.

If your rag-joint can't be removed, the Borgeson is your best bet.

It is your steering; fix it right.

It's well worth the money or you can rebuild it every year or two with the dealer parts. I opted to fix it once and for all instead.
