His plates are for reinforcing the frame when converting to crossover, they do not help with the cracking oem plate.

The cracking is from the flexing. Stop the flexing no more cracking.

At what point is this reinforcement needed big tires and a lift kit?
I know big loads and going down a rutted trail will do things in.

Yes but the plates mount the box in the 2wd position, doesnt help the 4wd folk.

I have a set i am mounting on mine with crossover.

If someone talks to him i am sure he could design a reinforcement plate for the stock 4wd steering setup.

I believe he ether had one for 2wd and 4wd or was in the process of making them ,Due to number of persons who plow with the ramchargers and or rock crawl . .
