For those who have stand exhaust does the muffler sound pretty decent reason I'm asking is that I have to get emissions done and I don't want to keep taking the muffler on and off, cause I really like the straight pipe sound

Sadly, I can't say I've ever heard a straight-piped Cummins up close (that I know of), but I think the muffler sounds great. I had a Magna-Flow on there before with the stock exhaust and that didn't sound right. This sounds much deeper and throatier, although a lot of that is probably from the change to 4".

My straight pipe sounds great and it isn't that loud at all. Nobody but my brother complains about it and he don't count. (He complains about everything.)

If i ever make it out to the track to see how my truck runs and you show up, you will be able to hear a straight pipe!

Same price with more welding, but THey will warrenty everything but my welds. He said that half the people that want that exhaust have the longer housing.

He11 i just might start making my own

it really isnt that hard i did my own extremely happy with it and it only took me about 4 hours if that just go to airflo.com and theyve got all the bends youll need by the way my truck is straight piped and people are always complaining but i love to hear it and them complaining
