stage III is in

after a lot of throwing thing and getting mad and about 5 or so hours i got my HTT stage III on my truck last night and this morning. it was really interesing putting it on a 90 non IC truck. i am going to take some pics of that and my stacks. the turbo intake is kinda redneck, but it is sealed up. i think i will change that after i get mroe money. i went from 26 to close to 30. and i done really want to go much higher on boost since i advanced the timing. But i love it and now i can really hear the turbo. now i just need the 3200 spring

Great! How did the stage III affect your EGT's? 30psi is safe for your turbo. Probably a full third of that 30psi is created through heat, not volume of air, meaning that the turbo isn't as close to overspeeding vs an intercooled truck pushing 30psi. I've been winding mine out to close to 40psi for a couple weeks now and it definitely has cooled things down and nothing's popped...yet. I've got enough timing to make it rattle, too. My head gasket's got 392k on it---still factory paint on the head bolts! So far so good. Your mileage/results, of course, may vary

Awesome, can't wait to see pictures! I'd really like to see your stacks also bud. I've been thinking about going with black ones, ain't a big fan of chrome.

I added a HTT stage 4 setup and a 2004 powerstroke intercooler to my truck about a month ago and it took allot of work to do the piping. I used to be able to hit 950 F post turbo on level ground, and now i can't hit 700F up hill.

I took pictures as well, there in my gallery.

For a intake horn, i got one off a 93 with the 5 inch inlet.
