Stacks and heavy rain = this.

A few strategically placed 1/4" holes will prevent that, and also prevent the water getting deep enough to warp a turbo or water-lock the pistons.
Are you sure there was only one kid in there; it looked like a whole herd of them.

On my truck the 5" stack is just for show. There is 4" run up about a foot inside it. The 4" to 5" reducer has drain holes. Rainwater runs down the inside of the 5" and out the drain holes into the bed.

The water would have to be poured in with a hose to ever get deep enough to get to the engine. It never used to get full like that but all the joints have got soot in them now and it sealed them up. I am gonna put a couple of drain holes in the corner elbows. Just thought I would film it for giggles.

Bob them off flat and put flappers on them. My first set of flappers were the heavy heavy duty 6'' chrome ones but I didn't have enough exhaust pressure to open them. I need to go back and get the cheapo 6'' flappers that don't weigh anything. The ole 93 with slap the heavy duty 6'' chrome ones open with a vengence. But no water goes down the pipe. Good luck fixing your sealed up pipes.
