Stacks!
Anybody got any pictures of a dual stack set up on a first gen. truck? I'm wanting to run two 5"ers on the front corner on each side. I've got a pretty good idea of how to do it but would like some pictures that'll show it better. I'm also going to keep my aluminum tool box because I keep a bunch of my junk in it so I need it

its kinda hard to keep your metal tool box if its one that sits on the bedsides, unless you slide it back more. I helped a buddy put stacks on his truck, we ran 4" back under the center of the bed, then a 90 straight up and through the bed, once in the bed it split in a Y and then to both sides, and then straight up.
I also believe this is the setup that most kits use. Stacks are great, but make sure you build a cage around them in the bed or such, he hauls stuff in his, and had something slide and smash a stack Cause there is gonna be that time youll say na, it aint goin anywhere

Definately go with at least 5" stacks if you're gonna do it. Check my photo gallery for some stack pics. After about a year, I've had enough though. One, they're loud, two, I can't get in the garage. So I'm gonna remove them and just get a 4" exhaust kit.

Kid take a look at my gallery, I over complicated it, good illustration as what not to do. I'm lucky in the fact that I need to replace my bed anyways, but don't do this to a nice truck! They look good, until you look inside lol. Take your time and think it out, I was rushing. The old Y section is the best way to do it in my opinion.

See my version in my photo gallery. I used a square tube for a splitter and used an old diamond plate running board to bridge the space between the front of the bed and my diamond plate toolbox (box not in photos). I ran 4" from the downpipe to the box tube and 5" stacks.

Got some pics of mine in my gallery. They are a wee bit high right now, gonna come down about 8" here when I get some time. Have fun with 'em, you won't believe the looks you get, especially when they're as obnoxious as mine, lol!
