Speedometer Fix - 1992 D-150 2wd 5-speed v6
I am trying to reverse-engineer the Speedometer Controller Board (pic below). I am using KiCad to layout the board, and if all goes well
I should be able to make a prototype.
Mine has extensive corrosion on the trace side. I am hoping that someone who reads this might have a junk board that I can use to
piddle with this project. Let me know, and what you want for it.
I was able to get mine to work by replacing the UAF-7115 and a couple of components, then soldering in jumper wires in a few places where the traces were open,
But, the traces are in bad shape, they are lifting off of the board.
I already have the physical size layout drawn to scale, but before I spend a lot of time drawing the schematic I want to make sure that it's possible to de-solder and re-use
a stepper motor. As bad as my board is, it still works, I don't want to mess it up!
Thank you, and if this pans out I will post my drawings, schematics, and data to this forum.
