Sources For Piston-pump Spacer, Etc.
Where, specifically, can I order the necessary spacer, etc. that is required for installing a piston lift-pump??
Also, I intend to go flexible line between pump and filter, to give me some options for remote filter mounting.
What size/type fittings do I need to replace the banjo-bolts and hard line at pump and filter??
Thanks.

I Live Way Out In The Sticks
The nearest Cummins dealer (that I know of) is 130 miles from here.
If I can't find a mail-order source, then I will go that route.
Thanks.

Me three. Closest one to me is 25 miles, but they don't stock doodly squat. It all has to come from the main warehouse - which is about 100 miles away. So I don't go there any more, I just phone it in to the main warehouse.

The pump outlet uses a compression fitting with ferrule -- not sure what the OD on that line is, I keep meaning to measure it to be sure of the exact dimension. I just got the spacer plate in the mail from cummins -- it is just stamped out of 3/16" plate, so my advice would be to cut it out yourself . . . The only reason for the plate seems to be to get the pump to clear the breather baffle that makes the side cover stick out there just above the pump -- the dimension of the plate does not have to be super precise.
If the line diameter is not some crazy odd-ball, I am just going to get a compression union, some extra line, and a new ferrule to plumb my pump in.

I've bought a lot of stuff from CarCityMachine. Pat has been a stand up guy every time I've dealt with hom, auctionsupport@carcitymachine.com. They also have an fleabay store.
Most Cummins dealers will drop ship stuff to your place. Also, if there are any truck repair shops close they will most likely stock some Cummins parts. If they do you can probably get them to bring in your parts with their stock order to save on shipping.
