Some cold engine haze with the 6x16's

Its getting kinda cold and the ole 6x16's are getting a little more hazy in the morning.

just your typical white smoke from low combustion temps. i bet she's fine when she warms up.

Who's 6x16's are you running? I lost my set, one dropped a tip and another cracked. Mine would never stop smoking, if your foot was on the pedal it was either hazing or just plain smoking.

Mine are from J+L Machine. ( I think thats who makes New Era's also ). They never run clean but is better then that when up to temp. I can see haze all the time while driving, even easy on the go pedal. Then of coarse it gets worse as my foot falls.

Does it go away as the engine gets up to full temp?

ah, that's a shame. I kinda was hopin they would be clean if you want them to be. Oh well, guess if I get 6x16 I'm gonna be rude anyway!

Engine temp Richie. The hotter your engine temp on a diesel(with in reason) the more efficient it is. Thats why yours will do only when its cold.
