So what fixed YOUR brake lights?

So what fixed YOUR brake lights?
Just a poll... But since there's so many possible problems and they'll all mentioned at the same time, I couldn't figure out what's the most common problem...
PS. I'm talking about those "Parking Brake" and "ABS" lights that are on all the time in every other old Dodge...

I have'nt figured it out yet. Mine stays on 95% of the time. They ususally come on about 10 seconds after I start it up. Sometimes after I drive it a while then stop and restart, the lights don't come on. It's got to be a bad connection somewhere, I'm suspecting it's at the speedo
sensor, I replaced that plug once already when speedo stopped working. The connection at the abs sensor is clean.

Mine was on when I got it then I had the bed off putting a flat bed on and saw that the wires going into the rear end were unpluged. So I plugged them in and the light turned off. But then a couple months later the light came back on again. so i'm going to unplug the module.

I have heard that iron "paste" accumulates on the sensor in the rear differential. The module compares the speedo reading to the ring gear reading -- so when you start driving, once you get over 10mph or so it will kick the error code if the readings don't match. I have been meaning to change the oil in the rear diff and check out/clean up the sendor to see if that solves the problem of "erratic" signals.

I unplugged the computer. But last month my son did the front brakes over completely and adjusted the rears...so maybe it's time to plug back in and see what happens.

there is a bulletin out there somewhere about bad connections in the firewall that have to be by-passed. seems like it caused 75 percent of the problems. too old to get under dash to try it just unplugged the module.
