I think the plan is to camp out Friday night if so inclined. Breakfast at the truck stop and then Saturday will be full of "how to's". Cook out at noon, everyone brings a dish, etc. The hosts have been supplying the meat.

Trying to organize a swap meet type thing this year. How to sessions will be the Getrag again, maybe a Dow Pin killed & 366 spring instal etc. Greenleaf usually does an IP walk through. I learned a lot last year, both from the sessions and just visiting. Plus saw some neat ideas and trucks.

It was worth the 3 hour drive! I want to see Rumble's crew cab !

A little more than a week away!

I am still trying to decide whether or not to come as a new truck might be on the way and I do not have anything to take down to make it worth while.

Its definitely worth it. PToombs comes from New York....there are others that come from far off also. Saturday there is a hog roast. Just go. Do it. Don't think about it.

Drive faster, make it shorter.

Diesel Jon- come along anyway. We allow a certain probationary and searching period for finding a new suitable ride.

txs- if Rumblefish hasnt given you the directions, PM me.

Here is what I am looking at

Not that exact one but it is what I have always wanted, a 2000-2002 Chevy 2500HD CC. Or a 2000-2002 3500HD CC dually. Then I would add one of these:

Of course, I might have to SFA it too but right now I have to work on getting the truck.

Would be 660 miles for me one way, around $200 worth of fuel at the prices around here for the whole trip. Don't know, have never been east of the KS/Missouri line really (except in the air).

Hello

I am one of the sponsers of the SOP event.

We accept people from the websites I normly post the event on. No directions have ever been posted on a public forum. If they ever are the event will be canceled most likely.

But in this case a couple of people have offered to send directions without asking me if it was all right to do so. I have talked with both of them.

I will uphold their offers this one time.

If anyone is interested in coming I need a email to this address by Tuesday, Oct 2nd at the latest.

Philip1952@hotmail.com

I need to know how many is in your party.

Let me know your user name and this website.

Don't respond here. Most likely I will not see it. This is not one of normal hangouts. It took 3 days after I became a member before this trashy software would even let me make a post.
