The small pin that rides on the fuel pin sits against a lever inside the pump top. The bottom of this lever is a foot that alot of guys grind off. I just remove the entire assembly. Then if I wish to restore to stock, I can.

the problem with doin that is....correct me if i'm wrong but that lever that rides up and down the pin is more efficient when the curve on the pin is there...instead of being all the way out am i correct in this or not?

I'm not talking about grinding a fuel pin. The fuel pin we all play with has no function what so ever after this. The afc lever inside the pump top, it's the one that goes up inside the top. You can only see it with the top off (like when the gov-spring goes in). The entire assembly being removed will achieve maximum fueling through any injector. Granted, it's not for the fuel sippers but definatley for the Hot Rod VE's.
