SHUTDOWN TIMER has arrived

Received shut down timer today, and it only took a dummy like me 10 minutes to install . Works GREAT, came home, pushed the button, turned off switch, went in the house and waited for the neighbor to call an say left my truck running. My wife even looked at me like I was crazy and told me I left my truck running...NO DUH ;D. Ya'll better gettem while you can, because I think they are going to sell like hot potatoes. Thanks Howard, it works like a CHARM

Re:SHUTDOWN TIMER has arrived

Well Guys, here it is, you'll need to contact HVANFLEE, you can PM him and load up his mail box with orders. I bugged him so much, I got to be the FIRST (and no Lary, I won't refer to this any further). The timer works GREAT, even had my wife and the neighbors asking me to show it off, they all wanted to see the different time settings, I even had a guy that drives a tricycle dump ask where I got it, I just smiled and HOW MUCH MONEY YA GOT . Now my wife is asking if I can get on that will start it up in the morning, or as she says "BOYS AND THEIR TOYS". The picture enclosed is not that good, cause people where trying to get a look and I was trying to take a picture, but as you can see, oil pressure @ 40-45(idle), timer light is on, and AIN'T no key in the switch. NOW if the people would just go HOME, give me money for fuel, or insure a rebuild of the motor after all the starts, I'd be happy Howard, you've opened a can of worms, now go for it and GOOD LUCK, e-mail me or pm when you get a chance

I'm a little lost, whats the deal with the shut down timer. Does it idle the engine down or what?

Re:SHUTDOWN TIMER has arrived

Paws, The timer allows you to have the engine continue to run to cool down the turbo, after you have turned off the switch, removed the key, locked the doors, and gone into the house or where ever, It shuts down the motor after either 2, 4, or 6 mins. Mine works like a charm and now I don't have to sit in the truck waiting for pyro temp to come down so I don't crater the turbo bearings. Most of the time when I arrive home, my pyro is sitting at 600-700* and I wait until it gets to 250-300* before shutting down, now I'm inside waiting for it to shut off on it's own. ;D ;D ;D

I tried contacting HVANFLEE with a PM, but got no response back from him...Any ideas? Is he still selling these things?

RedWhiteDiesel, he's selling them, I beleive I got the first one, it works great and really helps cool down the turbo by letting the truck run for a while. It's even more fun to go to wally world and let it run, ya get some weird looks when it shuts down, it's funny to watch someone walk beside it went it shuts off, even had one guy look in the window to see if someone was inside, then he just shook his head and walked off .

Chris, email HvanFlee at HVANFLEE@novell.com. He is the person that is selling them. Due to the site rules, we cannot post pricing info if the advertiser is not a paying advertiser of the site.
