shift selector indicator (pic)

Can someone show me a pic of new or working SSI or tell me how i can fix this one. Its been broke since i owned truck & now that im attempting to repair odometer Id like to fix this.

there should be a little wire that hang's off the botom that hook's to steering column

ok i guess i need to find a sticky or pic,,,or breakdown so i can determine how/where to attach....

the broken off wire and hook maybe still attached to the shift tube that runs down the top of column,

Good idea, ill look, i have noticed anything like that, does it hook in the notches of the curved piece attached to column about at the dash line? I have 2 slots in a wierd looking piece extrusion.

Yes it hooks into the notches on that curved piece on the column.

You realize the orange needle is broken off right? so even if you do hook it up its still not gonna really tell you anything.

Thanx Crossy. i didnt even notice. I guess i was thinking it wasnt noticeable because it was far to left.. well that presents another opportunity..I guess salvage is onloy place to get one?

Orange nail polish and a toothpick and some super glue?

I'd like to have mine working but the cable broke on it as well.

I dont have the tip...I hoping to get couple pics ups of my odometer, my large gear is broken but my concern is i have what appears to be mold on the circuit board and im wondering if that will hinder the performance of odometer.
