Synchro Assembly
I am rebuilding the G360 in my truck. I was jumping out of gear and making some noise.
Once opened up I could see that the output bearing was badly worn but the rest of the bearings were ok.
I got a rebuild kit.
Once I inspected the trans I decided to replace the Synchro Assemblies in addition to the blocker rings and bearings that came in the kit..
I ordred up all three Synchro Assemblies american powertrain warehouse.
They got me the Synchro Assemblies for 3-4 and 5-R but were unable to get 1-2.
Anyone got a source for the 1-2 the Synchro Assemblies?
They look a lot different then the other two.
Do they wear out? I cant really tell it its in good shape or not.
Is it worth worrying about?

you referring to synchros? they are usually available from standard transmission.com, manual transmission.com and did you check ebay? lots of aftermarket repro sales there too. if the mating points are rounded,, their shot.
