Shackle Flip for safe suspension lift.
This is how i did my shackle flip
Using your factory springs you will gain about 3-4" of height.
I'm thinking about moving the front spring perch 1" lower on the frame, it should allow the pinion angle to be closer to factory spec.
I used the upper front hole as a reference point, and the lower front hole was elongated to position the bracket on the frame. I then drilled out the rear two holes and bolted everything together. It is much easier to assemble the shackle and perch off the vehicle, unless you want to cut another hole in the frame to slide the bolt through
Here is the new stance of the Truck(with 500-800lbs of parts in rear)
When i install my bushings i'll take additional pictures of what holes to use and what the frame looks like after all the drilling
I found this picture, even though its horrible, of where the axle sat before the flip. The hub was almost centered with the pinch-weld along the bottom of the truck.
