Seeing an awful lot of First Gens lately

Has anyone else noticed a resurrection of first gen trucks on the roads lately? In the past week I've counted 12 different trucks (89-93 diesels) running the roads in my area and every one of them in great shape. I was able to talk to one guy, who actually lives about half a mile from me who is driving an unmolested, garage kept 89 with a measly 34k on the odometer.

There's a bunch up here, but everyone I've talked to doesn't want to sell.

I only see rusty ones this time of year with a plow on the front. The one I have does not see daylight till the roads are salt free.

Bunch of DDs around here. Still getting used and worked hard. Not too many show and shine rigs, but most still being kept in decent working order. Not being in the rust belt helps.

They are rare as hens teeth around here. I swear, the closest one I know of is almost 30 miles away.

Probably explains why I never found one for a parts truck.

I've seen maybe 6 or so in the last few months. Mostly all dinged up but not terrible. I'll go a few weeks and not see a single one. Then bam I'll see 2 or 3 in one day. Lol

Around here I don't see many. There are a few but none in good condition. I just spent the weekend in duluth though and saw 2. A red/white 4x4 that was in really nice condition with the original dog dish hub caps and all. Looked like a 92 or 93 with the front leveled.
The other one was grey. Hard to tell if it was in good condition. It was really dirty but I didn't see any rust or dents. It also looked like a taller 92 or 93.

When I saw the white/red one I admired it and told my gf i would sell my truck and buy a good clean old dodge like that one if it was nice and clean.

There's still a fair number around here if you get off the highway. Think I saw 6 the day I went up to Gothenburg to get on the interstate.

My boss' boy wants one. But not with an automatic. Told him get one with an auto and we'd stick a ZF6 in it.

Very rare around here in So Cal, in the last 5-6 years I have only seen 2 locally and both are pretty rough, 1 dually with broken fenders is always at a local bar so I'll assums it has been puked in many times and the other is a SRW.
You can sure see they never took any pride or had any respect for their truck.

Unless it's untaxed, then it's red.

I made friends with my neighbor recently because I spoted a 92 dually in his driveway. Our odometers are only about 300 miles apart!
I see tons around here, the ones in better shape are driven by grown men, and the kids have the rust buckets with skyjacker kits and dirty stacks.
