Scored at the local u pull it yard today!

Found a 93 D150 in there, standard cab long bed. It had all the headliner trim in really good shape and the correct color as mine, $15. Also had a bedliner in it still in great shape, $30. I found 6 drivers and passenger window/door lock bezels and switches out of 2 B vans and 1 Dakota, $40. Dash I/P bezel, $7.50 in black. Mine is woodgrain. Right and left wing windows, just in case, $15 and blower motor and wheel, $15.

I was also looking over some extended cab 2nd gen rear seats. I forgot to take a tape measure so I'm not sure if they will work out or not. Might be alright for the dogs though.

Oh yeah and the ashtray cup, $1.50.

But for every great deal there is a not so great deal, I just ordered and paid $270 for a new A/C compressor yesterday.

Oh well, another week without A/C and the heat index here is around 108-110.

I'm still looking for cruise switches though. The kind that are two seperate switches on either side of the wheel. If ya got some give me a shout.

Standard # is CCA1038

How long ago was that? NAPA just called me back with NIS.

I suspect most NAPA (Echlin) is repackaged Standard.

This was probably 6 months ago...maybe? I'm sure it is Standard but that sucks that they are NIS.

I didn't ask for a special order, nor was it offered. I looked at the SMP page, and they have it listed. Many others list it as in stock, though we all know that may mean "We think we can order it."

I'm going to try to order one at Rock Auto, which is one of the above mentioned sites, though usually (eventually) reliable.

<update> Went back to Rock. Clicked on Cruise control switch and got "No parts found"

AutoZone carries SMP. Asked them to special order one. Said their system can't get that part.

I talked to my local dodge house yesterday, and he said unfortunately they are no longer producing these switches. He said that he had tried to order some last August for a couple guys, come December they got put on back order. Then last month dodge called him and said that they could not get them, and had nobody to make them any more.....

He did tell me that he showed these switches were used on the 92-94 Dakotas as well as our trucks.... Guess next trip to the yard I'll be looking for Dakotas as well.
