S300 oil line feed question
What do I need for an adapter or an oil line to get my S300 on my 89. The return line is the same but the pressure side is smaller. I have been to 3 diffrent stores to try to find an adapter but I can't even match the threads in the new turbo. People look at ya kind of strange in a hardware store when you have a turbo under your arm. One guy says what the hell is that.

If you get the adapter that is on an HX-35 or the intercooled 1st gens you should be golden. Or you can do what I did and go to a Parker Hydrulics hose shop and have them put one together for you, mine cost me 48 bucks and turned out good.

Just got back from Napa. They make hyd hoses there. No luck. I will try a diffrent shop this week as they are closed on weekends. I hate these little problems. 4 stores and 2 days wasted looking for a 2 dollar part.

If you are lucky enough to have a good junkyard with old Case tractors, 5.9, 8.3 (B and C series) motors from tractors or trucks you could pick one these adaptors up no charger, for the most part. It will be the same adaptor used on hx35's and hx40's. Or a 'good' hydraulic fitting and hose shop for the adaptor. Cummins might be able to get it as well.
