My buddy replaced sections of his totally rusted floor in his '85 w100 project truck. It had been sitting for years in the hedgerow of a farm till we got it. Since we aren't really going for "authentic" in this truck, we replaced the rotted floor sections with some peices cut from street signs we had laying around . After that, we put a thin, even layer of roofing tar down across the entire cab floor to waterproof it, seal it, and provide a bit of sound barrier. Works great so far, just hose it out when it gets really dirty. He has a carpet that covers the floor so you dont actually see it.
