After much research Nerf bar style steps for first gens just do not exsist. Smittybilt had some black ones, DN20-S2B, but they are going out of business. DeeZee has several universal p/n's listed for our trucks with very limited availability. I guess no one needs to step up into a 1st gen!

I found a set of nerf bars for sale at Les Schwab Tires. They were new but on sale for 60 bucks. They were for another vehicle. I set them by my truck and they looked good, the right length for the cab. I took them home and tweeked the mounting brackets and they work and look real great.
