Talking Rpm's ye ha!!!!!

Just got done installing the tach, She will hit between 3000 and 3200 on the road. Hits 3600 at a stand still. Not so bad it's more than I exspected. I have somthing to help that out some I want 4000 rmps. I think I just might be able to do.

I think that you need the 4200 RPM governor spring for that, correct?

You shouldn't have a problem getting the motor to hit 4200 rpms its just getting it to fuel up to that high that is the hard part.

I was thinking more on the lines of #'s 887 dose this ring a bell? If not read the classifeids on the 2nd gen engine and dive parts u might see it there.

If you got the p-pump on it then you should have no problem getting springs to fuel over 4000

It's not on their yet, I have all the small parts I need to make it work now. As soon as I sell some parts off the 97, I will start and take under the photos.
I just got the transfercase sold yesterday when the trans is gone I will start.

I wonder If they will let me stay on the first gen forms? Or go to the 2nd gen forms?

4000 rpm.?

I thought someone said 3500rpm.was about it because over that you will float the valves?
