I've done that one. My crew cab has a square grill with an intercooler out of a duramax. NOW its cut a lot!!! but it does fit. I would think if the stock IC was used it could be made to fit without having to cut to much.
And No worries about HiJacking, don't think this thread is going anywhere.

hey-Hey!!!,
What about the dual, small rectangular headlight grills? Will those fit a 1990? I have to replace some of the OE one on the 1990 since it met a deer, and I really like those dual light grills. For that matter( as we go on hijacking ) what year/model did they come on?
cheers,
Douglas

I believe they were 76-79. You will need the lower filler panel below the grill as well, since this is where the front turn signals are located. I know it can be done since there are a couple members here that are running the early grills, or trucks, with IC and cummins.

Um...Lots and Lots of cutting and trimming and cutting. I'll try to get some pictures up. It's a good at 20 feet but much closer you get to seeing how it all came together.
It all happened back in my drinking days. I used to be permanently on the bottle....LOL Anyways I'll try to remember to get pictures up so you can see it.
