Rip Rook 4inch

I recently got a 4 inch exhaust from Rip Rook, 4 in down pipe and all. I was wondering if any of you have the full 4in setup and if so, how did you deal with mating the downpipe to the turbo flange. I got a 3to4 inch adaptor with the exhaust but just looking at the 4 inch down pipe versus the stock one AND the amount of room there is to work with it looks real tight. Anyone have any pics of their setup or any advise before I start cuttin away?TIA!!!

I have Rip's 4" exhaust but did only go with the 3" downpipe for now. He mentioned that HE charges 3 hours labor to instead the 4" downpipe. I just figured for a person that does this a lot compared to me doing it outside in the cold, I went with the 3" downpipe for now. He did say that the 4" would help in the egt's a little compared to 3". I know taht doesn't help you but it sounds like a PITA to get everything cut and installed.

FWIW, I ordered Rips 4" exhaust w/ 4" Downpipe.....A friend of mine at an exhaust shop will install it for me....I know there is a bit of cutting / trial fitting / and welding involved.....I figure if your gonna do it...you might as well go all the way! buy luckily somebody else is doing it for me......I'm planning on having this done in about 2 weeks....If you want, you can PM me and I'll let you know how it goes.

I've got Rips 4" exhaust with a 4" down pipe - all installed by Rip. I also have a 3" BD exhaust brake. It took a bit to get it lined up and after I got home the down pipe was a little too close to the heater box. I took some 2" exhaust pipe wrap and wrapped about 1' - that was almost 2 years ago and it works fine. BTW I saw about a 50 degree drop in egt's.
