Resto update
Well I finally went through with it and started the tear down of my truck. I will have pictures tomorrow but as of right now there is no bed no windshield no gas tank and the frame has been dipped in muratic acid. there is no interior to the cab except the dash cap. im looking for a 1994-2002 front seat if any one has any leads

ive had mine torn apart since april (spring break) still apart about $3500 outta my pocket and still doing body work haha. good luck with it man! i was looking at the 2nd gen seats too to replace my bench but crossys son told me if your over 6' forget it lol. you sit too high and might bang your head haha

Dang. Lol I'm 6'4. Yea more update. There is no dash and the frame is coated in rustoleum gloos black now along with rear axle. I will ve covering the front of the frame next week. I have to work all this week and the whole cab floor is coved in 5 layers of rubber under coating from rustoleum. Sry for no pics yet my computer is messin up. Going to use my wifes tommoro to upload

I hope you neutralized it completely with a base solution such as bicarbonate of soda & water. I have seen horrible results from when it wasn't. The acid just kept on eating which caused blisters under the paint from the newly formed rust. It looked like an eaten up battery hold down bracket.

I think it depends on which seats you get. i got the 94-97 ext. cab seats and i think they may be different than the reg. cab seats.
all i know is i'm 5'9 and my head was almost touching the roof.

Yes i did neutralize it. well i would upload pictures but its not letting me. idk if there to big or what. but i started body work on the cab today and by next week the cab will be ready to primer the dash is now painted as well. I really wish I could upload pictures so you can see the progress.

As brandon said the ex cab seats are about 4-6 inches taller than the reg cab seats. I've had both sittin in the garage and have since re-installed the ex cab seats (brandon had) in the truck they came out of and my buddy has been driving it ever since. The regular cab seats with brackets appear to look like they would bolt right in... but appearances can be deceiving I just haven't had the time or desire to stuff them into my truck with its rugged bench seat.
