Ok I have searched and read through the sticky and can only find people talking about removing the silencer ring, but cant actually find where someone has done it. Can someone give me the quick run down on how to do this.

 

1st gens don't have a silencer ring.

 

What about my Phatshaft? Does it?

 

I doubt it has one. But im not sure.

 

alls it would be is a snap ring on the front of the turbo inbetween the housing and the impeller if you have one. take the air inlet off the turbo and look
